It is tax season once again. I really should put an effort into either learning how to manage accounting practices so I can do them myself or keep paying the accountant.
My first job,where they actually took out taxes, was with my father who managed a movie theater. My responsibilities were to change the marque when ever movies changed. There was three locations to change the lettering. Both of which included the use of a ladder to get up to the sign. Bobbie Joe and the Outlaw,staring Lynda Carter played at the theater house once. I got two of the three locations spelling correct,however At the third location I miss-spelled Bobbie Joe and put Boobie Joe. The theater sold out for seven or eight weeks.My father did not check the sign until the theater started selling out and corporate wanted to know how, why, because the film was not doing so well in other theaters.
Imagine, Taking the time to learn everything out there that is available and taught in an education system today is not physically or mentally possible in one lifetime.
